            Q: For those who don’t know you, can you please introduce yourself and describe your sound?

We are The Pierce Kingans we make pop melodies over lo/md-fi music of the rock variety, lots of harmonies and guitars.

        Q: What’s one of the biggest successes you’ve had as a musician?

Opening for Drugdealer was cool but I'd have to say recording over 100 songs/20 eps, and now we are ready to make our debut album..oh and there's 3 compilation albums in there too

        Q: What do you think was the best Medium for music to be on? (Vinyl, Tape, CD, Digital)?

Vinyl sounds nice but Cd fidelity is higher really id say digital because of how accessible it has made music.

        Q: Who is your favourite local band to see perform around town?

Harley Small.

        Q: What’s coming up next for your music?



Working on a 10 all new song album which is recorded at Fresh-Air studios (the one in Steveston)and produced by Ian Browne (OG drummer for Matthew Good Band)

Artist Interviews - Best In Vancouver FINALISTS!

  Vancouver is full of many talented bands and every year Live Acts selects a few to highlight in the Best In Vancouver competition. More of a showcase than a true battle of the bands in essence. This year the top three finalists are coming together and putting on a show that will blow audiences away! We had a quick chat with each artist about being a finalist. Check out their answers below!   ♪ ♫ ♪           Q: How did it feel to hear about being selected for the top 3? Stories End: It felt amazing, we worked hard and it paid off! Polishing our set took months, but we got it down, and brought the good vibes where it counted! A very accomplishing moment for us indeed. New Music - Prepare For Hypothermia!

  Freeze The Fall has burst onto the scene in a whirlwind of riffs and hypnotic melodies. Despite their relative youthfulness, they caught the ever-watching eye of 604 Records . Together they worked hard to polish this already bright diamond into a new single titled " Hypothermia ". The track as well as accompanying music video will be released on Feb 12th .
