Q: For those who don’t know you, can you please introduce yourself and describe your sound?
We are The Arbuckles and we are a Pop Punk band. No not that kind of Pop Punk, and not that kind either.
People make a mistake a lot when they talk about their music influences wherein they just list off all the bands they like. I can keep it honest and say the bands I have actively and intentionally stolen riffs, melodies, and ideas from include Joyce Manor, For Science, Open Letters, and Slade. Anyone who says they don't steal is a liar or they write really boring music.
Q: What’s one of the biggest successes you’ve had as a musician?
I can confidently guess that we are in the top 1% tallest bands in Vancouver on average.
Q: What’s your favourite venue to play?
Green Auto outdoor stage was fun except for the fish stink but that's not their fault.
Q: What do you think was the best Medium for music to be on? (Vinyl, Tape, CD, Digital)?
Youtube-to-mp3 rips of covers misattributed to NOFX.
Q: Who is your favourite local band to see perform around town?
Us in a mirror.
Q: What’s coming up next for your music?
Recording new songs and being rejected by Music Waste for a third year in a row.
