Show Review - Put THAT In The Bible!
Support the Scene had the opportunity to send one of our incredibly talented photographers to see Bible Girl, Doom Loops, and Kites on Mars on November 8th, at Lana Lou's. Here's what Jade Weekes had to say about the incredible performance that these bands put on.

Bible Girl had their first show at Lana Lou's last night. Their sound was a great mix of indie rock with a touch of shoegaze. Since it was their first show, it was expected to have a couple of flubs but they carried on like the seasoned musicians they are. Many dynamic changes made their set full of unexpected energy bursts, amidst their more low-key overall sound. Keep an eye out for their upcoming single!

Kites on Mars unleashed their brand of emo synth rock upon Lana Lous, and brought the energy up to 11. Lead vocalist Nolan's soaring high vocals cut through the rest of the band and added so much emotion to each song. The energy of the band behind him was infectious as they headbanged, and they used the whole dance floor to interact with the crowd. Throwing in a Fall Out Boy cover which had the whole crowd singing along was a great choice midway through their set. They have a new single on the horizon so keep an eye on their social media!
