Q: For those who don’t know you, can you please introduce yourself and describe your sound?

We’re Saving Grace, an indie-emo-pop band located in “Vancouver”. Our songs consist of poetic lyrics, punchy guitar, combined with a little female rage . We have Grace on rhythm guitar, Kishwar on Lead, Thane on drums and Jaymie on bass! We are incredibly grateful to be playing shows and writing music on the stolen and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Q: What’s one of the biggest successes you’ve had as a musician?

We recently played Redgate for the first time! We’ve all seen countless shows there so it was such an awesome moment to see what the venue looked like from the stage, haha.

Q: What’s your favourite venue to play?

Green Auto and Redgate have been our favourites so far.

Q: What do you think was the best Medium for music to be on? (Vinyl, Tape, CD, Digital)?

Most of us collect vinyl but, obviously we don’t go a day without digital music or a CD in a car!

Q: Who is your favourite local band to see perform around town?

Avery Sloane, The Incident, Scarlet Fever, Slightest Clue <3

Q: What’s coming up next for your music?

We are so excited to be recording for our first two EPs this December!
