Here's what they had to say...

Q: For those who don’t know you, can you please introduce yourself and describe your sound?

We're a four piece rock band based out of Vancouver. Jake, Ruben, and Lucia were high school friends, and Gabe met the rest of the group during college. About three years ago we decided to meet up and jam together, and the rest is history. We play rock music, with a heavy influence from punk and grunge artists. We love groups like Amyl and the Sniffers, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, and, of course, Blondie.

Q: What’s one of the biggest successes you’ve had as a musician?

Last April we were invited to play the Pearl. It is easily the largest venue we've performed at, and it was absolutely thrilling to play our music on that massive stage! The extremely talented producer Bryn Griffiths was in the audience, and afterwards introduced himself to us. What followed was a fast friendship and the chance to record our debut ep with him. That record was released a few weeks ago, and we're very proud of it.

Q: What’s your favourite venue to play?

Any venue that hosts us is immediately our new favorite! We've been lucky enough to play at the Pearl, Redgate, the Roxy, Blarneystone, Portside, and 648 Kingsway. Last summer and fall we played the Cobalt a few times. That venue is such a blast. The staff is great, and the room is perfect for some down and dirty rock.

Q: What do you think was the best Medium for music to be on? (Vinyl, Tape, CD, Digital)?

Vinyl will always be king, but since our ep is only on streaming platforms right now, we'll say that digital is the place for our audience lol.

Q: Who is your favourite local band to see perform around town?

That's such an impossible question. This city is full of amazing musicians. Some artists, in no particular order, that come to mind are 2 Girls 1 Daw, Wiles, Warm Belly, Dog Gone, Computer, Suppertime, Wack, Estelle and the Honeydews, Queens Park, and of course the hair-metal allstars in Damsel.

Q: What’s coming up next for your music?

We have our ep release show at GreyLab on February 20th! We've also been recording lately, so keep your eyes peeled for some new music this spring/summer :)
